My son is building a magic mirror with his raspberry Pi. He has the OS installed and can see weather and news data, but it is from the US. How do we get it to pull in data for Australia? We are now completely stuck. Can anyone help?
There are several Magic Mirror projects, which one your son has followed?
The most popular project seems to be https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror and it has configuration files for setting the location to report data for.
For example, https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/tree/master/modules/default/weatherforecast and https://github.com/MichMich/MagicMirror/tree/master/modules/default/newsfeed and scroll to the README.
Hopefully it is a matter of editing a file and restarting the software.
